Three steps in fighting in a food poisoning outbreak


Each year, 76 million people in the United States is a contract food born illness, according to the Centers for disease control estimates. This figure almost equal to one quarter of the total population of the United States, as most of us 1 in 4 chance of contracting food poisoning. With these factors, it is important to know what to do if you think you are suffering from food poisoning. Although most cases are significantly faster, there is a great difference between one day an uncontrolled vomiting, diarrhoea and three days thereof.

First step: manage symptoms

There is a trio of symptoms, which usually indicate that a person is suffering from food poisoning: stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. Containing these symptoms is the first key to faster recovery.
